Prime Minister Edi Rama has started his speech at the National Assembly of the Socialist Party, revealing some points that, according to him, will further develop tourism in Albania until 2030.

Rama said that Albania should become a country that attracts elite tourists, large investments of hundreds of millions of foreign or domestic dollars, warning the construction of new resorts, this time not only by the sea but also in other tourist areas.

Rama also said that he will change the criticized status of the strategic investor, saying that "he has fulfilled his mission".

"To open a new chapter for serious foreign or local investors, even the current status of the strategic investor must change. The existing cadre has carried out its mission in a place where there were sandwiches, bread with cheese and music. Albania is no longer the country that no mind approaches. The bar must be raised even higher.

Albania 2030 must have an optimal offer, which attracts not only Italian tourists who come from Puglia because it is cheaper, but also tourists of the highest class. That's the only way we can develop tourism and bring in much more income", said Rama.
