Prime Minister Edi Rama has once again addressed all illegal builders, announcing that now all of Albania will be covered in every corner with security cameras to identify in real time any violation of the law.
"Only in this period, the message has been given that no matter how big your name is in the world of construction and the palace with violations, the state is bigger than you and you cannot enjoy it."
Because until yesterday, only the locals were watching, a 90-year-old man ended up in court as an illegal builder for a renovation across Dajti. How the police found this criminal in a hole across Dajti, it would be a gold medal if only his was left. Meanwhile, in the middle of Tirana, 4-5 illegal floors that will be enjoyed by the state and not the one who built them.
Technological transformation, another big problem. It took us months to conclude in this system here, the most important security agreement with the United Arab Emirates that has now finally been concluded and that will give us the opportunity to have smart cities, smart camera coverage all the way from the streets, to the schools, inside the school and the classroom, to give us a level of security of a high American standard.
Rama said that schools will have a video recording system inside them.
Likewise, parents will also be able to view the footage.
"Higher security in schools where the school directorates and parents will be given a registration system for activities within the school and it will be accessible in any case by the State Police. Higher security in the protection of the territory, beaches, rivers, forests through aerial surveillance with drones and satellites, but we are also missing one last component to definitively detect any violation of the territory in real time. Not like we have today, which we can do periodically", said Prime Minister Edi Rama.
