Prime Minister Edi Rama has compared Albin Kurti with the hero Oso Kuka, for whom he said that like him, he is locked in the tower and is fighting heroically with the great empires.
Rama said that the countries of the Balkans are too small to be separate, while their mindsets are also the same. During the joint statement with the Prime Minister of Montenegro Dritan Abazovic, Rama said that the region must leave behind the mindsets and ghosts of the past, and return to cooperation.
"Kurdëgjon journalists of these countries seem to live in a mahogany and we are all part of the same mindset. This is a moment where we have to fight with the old mindsets, to fight with the ghosts of the past, but not now to make Oso Kuka all over again, enter the towers, and be asked to sing for the new Oso Kuka. I am in complete sync when these absurd situations occur as in the North of Kosovo. We are divided and we are very small as markets", said Rama.
Joking with the journalists, Rama asked them if they knew Oso Kuka, the Shkodran hero who blew himself up inside his tower, killing many Montenegrin soldiers.
"Do you know Oso Kuka from Montenegro or not? You surely have an Oso Kukovic who entered the tower, fought with all the empires and was heroically killed", declared Rama.
Rama is in Montenegro as part of his Balkan tour that will end tomorrow with a visit to Belgrade.
