Prime Minister Edi Rama says that artificial intelligence will replace a large part of human services in local and central government.

After revealing that the approximation of legislation with the European Union will be done through "ChatGPT", Rama also presented the artificial assistant initiative for the provision of services through the "e-Albania" portal.

But artificial intelligence, according to Rama, will also be used to avoid corruption with tenders. The head of the Socialist Party said during his speech at the SP Congress that he will present changes in the structure of public procurement to the Assembly.

According to Rama, Albania has archaic procedures and an excessively large number of public procurement commissioners.

We are working to bring to the parliament a new project for introducing artificial intelligence in procurement and changing the procurement structure. Within this mandate, we will introduce procurement with Artificial Intelligence, which means that it will be procured with procedures where there will be no contact with commissioners and anyone above will not be able to influence the tender. Because the data will be taken by artificial intelligence and not by the company, and all this will be transparent to everyone.
