"Shkodra decided to be pro-development and pro-change" This is how SP candidate Benet Beci expresses himself after the historic victory in Shkodra in his next reaction, as he says that the emotions of the last two days are still not over.

In a post on social networks, Beci has posted a photo of the Municipality of Shkodra and writes that his duty begins there, to return the trust of the citizens to work.

"Your trust, in fact, is our obligation to work for every citizen of Shkodra and to humbly serve everyone who voted for us or not" writes the new mayor of Shkodra.

Benet Beci says that his projects for Shkodra will become a reality, as he is their target, as he thanks the people of Shkodra and his collaborators.

The emotions of these two days when Shkodra spoke, the citizens of Shkodra spoke and Shkodra decided to be pro-development, pro-change, have not yet come to me. After a month of campaign or a little more where we expressed ourselves and talked about the projects, we discussed with everyone how to make a better Shkodra, the citizens of Shkodra trusted us and this great trust is an extraordinary obligation. My task starts here, to turn their faith into work, from the day I start working for the municipality. I wanted to say something else: your trust, in fact, is our obligation to work for every citizen of Shkodra and to humbly serve everyone who voted for us or not. We will be at the service of each and every Shkodran with our best. I am very happy to tell you that we had an excellent campaign in Shkodër. I am grateful to every Shkodran, but also to my colleagues. I am grateful to every member of the SP, who with their desire, struggle and effort sometimes did not even dare to think that they would win; have been tremendously supportive. I am grateful to every democrat, who looked at us with suspicion and finally many of them managed to trust us. We are facing a tremendous challenge to do what we have promised. Special thanks to Prime Minister Rama. Our projects for Shkodra will become reality, this is our objective. Thank you to all the voters, tellers, commissioners, police officers, reporters, all of you who helped us have this great campaign.
