EC President Charles Michel arrives in Tirana today

The President of the Council of Europe, Charles Michel will pay a visit to Tirana today, where he will be received by Prime Minister Edi Rama.

The senior European official will be received by Rama at 10:15.

At 10:30, a closed-door meeting of the two delegations will take place.

At 11:15 a joint press conference will be held between Michel and Prime Minister Rama.

The visit of the senior official of the European Union comes at a time when the pressure for the integration of Albania and Northern Macedonia from the EU countries is increasing.
