The rapporteur for Albania in the European Parliament , Isabel Santos, spoke at the media conference about different spheres of life in our country .

Santos congratulated Albania for its role in the region, while emphasizing that the EU integration process is going well.

"We are closely following the law on Protected Areas. To see how the implementation of this new law will be done. Our attention is also focused on media freedom. The situation needs to improve when it comes to the environment for journalists as well as the transparency of media ownership and funding.

Many things are going well in Albania's progress towards the EU. The European Union is open and does not exclude Tirana's relations with any partner, even Turkey can be an ally of Albania.

The integration of minorities is an important topic. This is an important issue where we need to build a solidary and strong society.
