While we are only a few days away from the protest called on December 22 by the leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, former MP Ervin Salianji has been stripped of his functions in this political force.
The DP has removed Salinji as political leader of unit no. 6 in Tirana.
This decision comes after a long-distance clash between him and the leader of the Democratic Party, Berisha. The latter, yesterday during a press conference, made strong accusations against Salianja, saying that the meeting with the Democrats in Elbasan had been organized by criminal gangs.
This concerns the meetings that Salianji held with grassroots democrats, at the same time as the tour of speakers held by Berisha in various cities.
Berisha described this as the red line of this party.
Salianji rejected these accusations and countered by saying that leaders who should be accountable to the Democrats, instead of doing so, hold them accountable for gathering and smearing them.
