The voting process in Rrogozhinë has ended, where citizens voted this Sunday for the election of the new mayor.

According to information from the CEC, over 1000 more voters than in previous elections have registered, apparently after the mobilization of the competing parties.

In the elections for mayor of Rrogozhinë, Edison Memolla from the Socialist Party, against Shkëlqim Hoxha from the coalition "Co-Win".

In Rrogozhina, the elections were re-enacted after the problems with the prison box ballots were established. Hundreds of prisoners from all over Albania, serving sentences in the RROGOZHINA EEU had voted massively for the candidate of the ruling party.

Today, however, it has not gone without incident, though smaller. At some polling stations, the presence of unauthorized persons has been reported. A man was captured photographing the vote.
