Prime Minister Edi Rama gathered this evening at the Socialist Party headquarters deputies from the Tirana district and the electoral headquarters designated for Ogerta Manastirliu's campaign.
The meeting, which lasted 1 hour and 10 minutes, focused on the party's progress after the Constitutional Court's decision to annul the elections in Tirana.
Despite the Constitutional Court's decision, it is learned that Socialist leader Rama has requested that the structures be ready for elections at any time.
During the meeting, Rama asked Tirana MPs what the problems and situation on the ground were according to surveys by SP structures, and the MPs reported according to the respective areas.
Rama has called for a re-energizing of the structures and has ordered the deputies to continue the meetings in Tirana and ensure that the work done so far does not go to waste.
Also present at the meeting was Deputy Prime Minister Belinda Balluku, who is a defendant in the SPAK case.
We recall that the Constitutional Court dismissed the mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj, and annulled the local elections in the capital. Meanwhile, the Socialist Party continued its campaign with its candidate, Ogerta Manastirliu.
