The chairman of the DP parliamentary group, Gazment Bardhi, was in line with Sali Berisha and stated that Edi Rama is being blackmailed by Belinda Balluku, which is why he has not made the decision to dismiss her.
He continued with the accusations directed at Prime Minister Edi Rama and Belinda Balluku, who by decision of the GJKKO has been suspended from her duties as the government's number two and at the same time Minister of Infrastructure and Energy.
"Rama is at the head of every corrupt affair, Balluku has brought him to his knees and is blackmailing him ," declared Bardhi.
The Democrat also made strong accusations against EU Enlargement Commissioner Marta Kos.
"The Commissioner became the spokesperson for a corrupt government, to distort reality and deny what the OSCE/ODIHR has said in black and white means that you not only have no respect for yourself, but no respect for Albanian citizens. I regret that Ms. Kos became the spokesperson today, what forces her to step outside her role and European principles, I invite you to ask her ," he said.
He further warned that " I personally know what compels Ms. Kos to become a spokesperson for untruth. But we assure you that we will do everything so that both Albanians and Europeans learn this very soon. But for today I will stop here."
During the regional summit, Kos was asked about the OSCE/ODIHR report on the May 11 parliamentary elections.
"The elections were free and fair. It's good when we receive suggestions for improvements and this is a good thing for Albania and the EU," was Kos's response.
