The head of the Democratic Party parliamentary group, Gazment Bardhi , requested in today's plenary session the removal of the draft law on the "Status of Magistrates" from the agenda.

During his speech in the Assembly, Bardhi said that the financial treatment of prosecutors and judges should not be treated in this way and requested that the draft law be subjected to a more specialized review.

"We cannot make fun of the financial treatment of prosecutors and judges. I propose that it be removed from the agenda, that we pass the draft law for a more specialized opinion to the Legislative Council ," said Bardhi in today's session in the Assembly.

While the head of the parliamentary group of the Socialist Party, Taulant Balla, stated that " The Albanian Parliament, at least since 1998 and onwards, has a consolidated practice regarding the procedure it follows in the transposition of the decisions of the Constitutional Court. The Legislative Council has completed it in its own way in an exemplary manner. Even the Constitutional Court should take an example from the Legislative Council. The Parliament has requested the opinion of the government and this is where it ends. Your request cannot be approved because the Legislative Council has decided. I am glad that the Democratic Party comes out in defense of judges and prosecutors, because it is a reflection of those insults and insults that you often make. Today we are here to vote on a draft law. Our vote on the request of the Democratic Party is against, because the request is hypocritical. " The request of the Democratic Party was rejected.
