The Democratic Party has warned the Audiovisual Media Authority for the use of the name and logo of this political force by Sali Berisha's group.

Through a letter sent to the AMA, it is said that there is only one Democratic Party headed by Lulzim Bašan, and that any other grouping that uses the name or symbols creates confusion and misleads the Democrats.

DP of Basha warns of taking legal steps against any media that misuses its political identity.

After the PD split into two groups, the media often refer to it as "Basha's PD" and "Berisha's PD", or in some cases using epithets such as "Brava's PD" and "Foltorja". Even though PD is legally in the hands of Basha, Berisha continues to use the logo, the seal and all the symbols of this political force.
