On September 2, the Democratic Party will convene the National Assembly. This was one of the first decisions taken by the leadership of the party after the re-election of Lulzim Basha as chairman.
The meeting of the party's highest governing body is expected to be a culminating point of what the Democratic Party will be like without Sali Berisha and the re-establishment group and with the absolute dominance of Lulzim Basha.
5 days before the meeting of the Assembly, some details were revealed. The first to be revealed was the Parliament's logo. Published first by Basha and then by all his supporting MPs, the logo contains the official Party logo and a stylization of the eagle of the orange flag.
Also, it should be noted that the place of holding the Assembly, unlike the previous times, will be the Asllan Rusi Sports Palace, which is expected to create opportunities for the accommodation of more Assembly delegates.
Meanwhile, as far as the decision-making of this Assembly is concerned, the most important are related to the statutory changes, the articles related to the organization and functioning of the party are expected to be rewritten.
Also, after this Assembly, the way to restructure and reorganize the party structures, such as those in the center, but also in the districts, is expected to be opened, where it remains to be seen how it will be done with those branches where the presidents are in command.
Meanwhile, there are many questions about what will happen to the group of deputies and democrats led by Gazment Bardhi, who do not recognize the processes that took place until the re-election of Basha as president.
