The Electricity Distribution Operator (OSHEE) has sued the Democratic MP Gazment Bardhi for defamation.

OSHEE sued Bardhi for defamation regarding a statement made by him in the Assembly on the percentage of loss in the energy network.

In the first session where Bardhi brought his legal representative, lawyer Marash Logu, OSHEE demanded a refutation of the figure, claiming damage to the image. But after the refusal of the parties to settle the case by agreement, the court set a new date for the continuation of the trial.

The file against Bardhi was sent for jurisdiction to the GJKKO by the Court of First Instance of General Jurisdiction in Tirana.
