Prime Minister Edi Rama said from Slovenia at the strategic forum in Bled, he said that Albania has a smaller budget than Cristiano Ronaldo's, as he spoke about the energy crisis in the country.
Despite the fact that Albania's budget, according to Rama, is small and that we are in an energy crisis in our country, the price of energy has not increased for Albanian families and small businesses.
"We have made a decision, a brave decision I think, and time will tell whether it is brave or not wise not to affect energy prices for households and small businesses. We are fully covering this difference, which is quite painful for the Albanian budget, which is less than Cristiano Ronaldo's budget, but again, we have managed to continue like this," said Rama.
The moderator responded to Rama's statement by saying: " While we continue with Moldova, the analogy with the budget of Cristiano Ronaldo, who now sits more on the bench, makes it even more unfair."
So the head of the government, after the moderator's direct reaction, said that he has nothing against Cristiano Ronaldo, while adding that Albania's budget is modest.
"Let's not talk about justice because it would be very difficult to get out of this fair and unfair discussion. I have nothing against Cristiano Ronaldo, to make sure you don't take it as the behavior of a betrayed Juventini. I'm just saying that our budgets are very modest compared to the big ones and not even being in the European Union".
