The Mayor of Saranda has sounded the alarm that the coastal city has no space to build public toilets. Asked by councilors at the Municipal Council meeting, Oltion Çaçi admitted that the situation is difficult.
"It is true that there are problems with public spaces to build more toilets, but we will try to find some opportunities for portable toilets, which will allow all tourists to have their own spaces to perform their necessary needs," stated Çaçi.
The lack of public spaces including parks, children's corners, and toilets is one of the main complaints that foreign tourists have about Saranda.
