The head of the PD Parliamentary Group, Enkelejd Alibeaj, said that he and his supporters will not take part in the voting for the election of the new President tomorrow.

" The boycott would be like us not participating in the process at all. We do not take part in the vote tomorrow. Albanians take into account all our efforts. It is a process, which only we were not boycotted ", said Alibeaj.

Alibeaj further stated that the DP participated in the process for the election of the new President, demanding a President over the parties and all Albanians.

" We have entered this process, demanding the election of a President over the parties, the election of the president of the Albanians, the first citizen who should symbolize the unity of the people. That is why from the beginning, respecting the constitutional, moral, political obligations to our voters, we openly entered into this process, participating and setting rules, how the process should be common, so that the product was universally accepted and provided a guarantee for the normal exercise of the office of President.

It is not a normal process, as if nothing happened. What I said at the beginning was proven. " Rama did not have any intention to give the citizens a president representative of all Albanians ", said Alibeaj.
