Beleri emphasized that "the battle I am fighting is not personal. It is a battle for the rule of law and democracy, the rules of which must be respected by everyone," he told the Greek newspaper.

Also, Beleri told the Greek media that this is a battle for the values ​​that represent the West and Europe, and which must be respected by those who want to join the great European family.

"It is a battle for the most suffering and unjust part of Hellenism, the Greek minority of Albania", he said.

Beleri, in the New Democracy activity, was represented by his brother, Leonardo, while he was applauded by those present when the name was announced.
