One official candidate and the other tentative. Florjan Binaj and Ermal Hasimja have come together for the expected Tirana race. 

"Florjan called me, asked me to support him and as long as we have the same objectives, the same values ​​and principles, why not and I have said it as I have said and publicly I am ready to support him. It doesn't matter if it's me or Flori or someone else. Ultimately, the priority of this whole thing is to change Tirana for the better," said Ermal Hasimja.

But what will be Ermal Hasime's role in the campaign of the comedian who aspires to sit in the mayor's chair?

"It is difficult to say that groups are being created now, as one group will deal with the strategy part, another group with the problem of organization, campaign structuring, logistics, etc. The most natural contribution for me would be in the strategy and program part. As long as I am asked for help and support, I will be completely willing to offer it," says Hasimja.

Until the roles are divided, there is no shortage of advice.

"I told him that he should of course try to get and collect the best opinions from those people who can help him formulate the program and message, this is the main thing. The rest has to do with the commitment of the parties, that each party will engage its human resources to implement on the ground what is in the strategy," said Ermal Hasimja,

A day ago, Florian Binaj broke the ice and publicly sat down at a table with representatives of the opposition spectrum. But he has decided to keep party leaders, first and foremost Sali Berisha, away from the campaign.

"For me it doesn't matter much, as long as the political parties have given their support for his campaign, from this moment on it doesn't matter whether he shakes his hand or how he shakes his hand, whether he appears in the photo or not. The support has been given, one thing is certain, he is an independent candidate, who will receive the support of political parties, but without being a candidate of a political party," concluded Hasimja.

The Constitutional Court suspended the partial elections in Tirana until it has its final say on October 31. But, although the battle for the capital has frozen, candidates from both camps have been mobilized to collect votes.
