The Investigative Commission for TIMS meets again today (Full list of witnesses)

The Investigative Commission for the leakage of data from the 'Tims' system will hold its next meeting today at 12:00. Experts who will help the work of the Investigative Commission are expected to be appointed today.

Likewise, the chairman of the commission, Ervin Salianji, has agreed with the proposals of the SP, putting the names of Sali Berisha, Lulzim Basha and Gazment Bardhi on the list of witnesses that will be called before the investigator.

The list also includes the names of Prime Minister Edi Rama, Interior Minister Taulant Balla and his predecessor, Bledi Çuçi, names that were requested by the opposition to testify before the parliamentary investigative commission.

Sali Berisha, already deposed with his demands to participate in plenary sessions, is not expected to go to the premises of the Assembly this time either. But in order to interrogate Berisha, the investigative commission for TIMS must receive approval from the Special Prosecutor's Office, as Berisha has been under house arrest since December 30 and under investigation for the partisan club affair. So far, the demands of the lawyers that Berisha be allowed to go to the hearing have been rejected by all levels of the courts.

The investigation is considered open and the Commission will complete its activity within the deadline set by the decision of the Assembly on July 21, 2024.
