Stripped of his politician costume, this Sunday, Lulzim Basha has gone back in time and talked about his student life in the Netherlands.
In a podcast with Marsid Gupin and Ermal Peçin, Basha showed the work he has done while he was a student, one of them is also his work as a DJ.
"During that time I studied and worked. I've done some work, but the work I've done longer and I've said that and encouraged young people, has been what they tell telemarketing today. There is still a company in the market, which was doing financial analysis. It was a time when there were no euro and they were analyzing the medium-term projections of the world's top 10 cages and the treasury bills of the world's top 10 economies. And three times a week we published a publication on how the dollar, the German marks, Swiss francs, Francs, Italian lire, The Canadian dollar, the Australian dollar, the Japanese yen, I don't mention the tenth, but there were the top 10. And then we had a database where we had the calls of CEOs and vice presidents who had the financials of the world's largest corporations and banks. We called to sell the newsletter. We were pretending to be part of the newsletter. We were just selling the bulletins that analysts prepared. But the good thing was that it exposed me and seduced me with a lot of knowledge of the financial market. How the currency moves, how the treasury bill moves.
We had our own clubs, some of them were also owned by our own student organizations. One of my closest friends was the DJ on one of these. So we were almost undivided, he also became a bit of a stinger and I had to deal with music. Music is my passion, especially the music of my time of study, although it's now back in fashion. I had a love of music, I experienced pop, rock, hard rock, heavy metal. My favorite band was Duran Duran, the first group I followed, Alphaville. So it's been the great artists in the 80s have been filled with great artists from certainly Madonna, Michael Jackson, George Michael, Metalica of course, etc. I liked music, but I had a hobby to play music and I had it from my friend Richard who was a professional DJ," Basha said.
