Lawyer Ylli Manjani recounted this evening on Euronews Albania the behind-the-scenes events that occurred after the vote on the Justice Reform.

He said that Donald Lu , the American ambassador, said that political leaders would not be affected. 

He further says that he prepared an article in the draft reform that indicated this.

Manjani then says that the politicians themselves opposed such an article for political image, according to him.

" The quality of those laws is very poor. Time has shown that the Justice Reform was a tool to empower Edi Rama."

If, whoever is in government and gets the justice system changed, takes this as a tool and uses it. Politics is about image and at the end of the day, Rama had this card in the campaign.
