The Constitutional Court, once again today, showed that it cannot rise to the height dictated by the fundamental law of the state and the massive will of Albanians, who demand change and not submission.
An institution gripped by anxiety about preserving its seats cannot have either the independence or the clarity to make a decision in the interest of citizens.
History teaches us that every achievement towards freedom, equality and rights has come through the continuous efforts and unity of people. Although the path is difficult and full of obstacles, it is not impossible.
We will not surrender in the face of these injustices, which stem from the Rama-Berisha bargain to deny Albanians the right to elect their deputies.
Albanians now have one more reason to reject this bargain with their vote on May 11th.
Albania deserves more!
