While representatives of the opposition have asked SPAK and GJKKO to proceed immediately without delay with the revocation of the non-proportional measure of "house arrest" against the head of the Democratic Party, the Constitutional Court has reacted through a notice distributed to the media.

She clarifies that yesterday's decision refers to the security measures "compulsion to appear" and "prohibition of leaving the country", and not to the consideration of the "house arrest" measure.

Further in the announcement, it is clarified that as it was also stated in the press conference of President Zaçaj, as far as the evaluation of the security measure "house arrest" is concerned, the request regarding this measure was registered in the Court, on 18.11.2024, and will be subject to another judicial review according to the terms and rules provided by law.
