The way in which questions will be asked to the head of SPAK, Altin Dumani, and the head of the General Prosecutor's Office, Olsian Çela, has caused strong debate in the Albanian Parliament.

The Socialists demand that the questions be submitted in writing and that Dumani and Çelaj respond after reporting.

This has brought opposition from Democrats, who seek to ask questions and receive answers.

“This is a parliamentary practice,” said the speaker of the Assembly Niko Peleshi, bringing the reaction of the other side. “In 20 years the Prosecutor General has reported in this way,” said the head of the socialist parliamentary group, Taulant Balla. “Do you remember Sali, when Ina Rama (former prosecutor general) was reporting and you left the room? Do you remember Jozi (Jozefina Topalli)?”

Berisha responded to Balla by reading several parts that, according to him, come from wiretaps obtained by the justice bodies from the SKY ECC applications, where, according to him, the name of the MP and former Minister of Interior is mentioned.

“Target informed PIN xxx that they had agreed not to ask Taos for any other tenders than those they had agreed to. This message was forwarded to Taos and they were given until December. Tao replied: I guarantee these people will vote but if we put them on the list, those who want them in jail. The answer was: Yes, we guarantee that. Tao then said: They will go to jail this year.”
