The Electoral College has ordered the Central Election Commission to register Arlind Qori's Lévizja Bashke party in the May 14 local elections, overturning the previous decision of the chief commissioner Ilirjan Celibashi.
The decision was taken today in the session held at 15:00 by the Electoral College. In this session, it was decided to overturn the decision of the Central Election Commission for the non-registration of the said party in the elections and the obligation of the CEC to implement this decision.
After the decision, Arlind Qori considered the decision of the Electoral College as a surprise for him, as he considers the decision as a victory for democracy and pluralism in Albania.
The candidate of the party "Lëvizja Bashke" for the Municipality of Tirana will be Arlind Qori himself, who is added to the race with Erion Veliaj and Belind Këlliç, while the group that supports Enkelejd Alibeaj does not yet have a name.
