New PD National Council has Sali Berisha's face

Dorian Teliti is the only elected name of the National Council of the Democratic Party to serve as a close associate of The Oblast, while among the returns there are some names that in the past have been critical of both Basha and Salvini.

Teliti has held the post of chief of the Cabinet of The Oblast, while elected are Rudina Ii, Fatblanc Kadilli, Myslym Murrizi and former Deputy Interior Minister Avenir Peka, the brother of Cim Peka.

Among the names for members of the DP's second most important institution are noted loyal to former Prime Minister Sali Berisha, where no former senior officials have been absent at the time of the DP's rule.

According to Vokshi's statement, as soon as it is consolidated, the PD Council, must choose the Chairman of the Council, between two candidacies to be proposed by the Reestablishment. Also before 22 May, the Council must choose the new PD chairmanship.

A day earlier, Sali Berisha left it up to the National Council to elect enkelejd Alibeaj's replacement to head the DP parliamentary group in the Assembly.
