Prrenjas Municipal Council votes unanimously against merging with Librazhd

The Municipal Council of Prrenjas voted unanimously against merging with the Municipality of Librazhd.

Of the 17 members present at the meeting called to express their views on the Territorial Reform, 17 voted against, without any objections.

At this meeting, the report of the hearings with citizens was also made public.

Out of 400 citizens present at the public consultations, 398 expressed their opposition to the merger with Librazhd and 2 expressed their support.

The draft law sent to municipalities by the group of socialist deputies for Territorial Reform seeks the opinion of citizens and the documented and argued expression of municipal councils and mayors.
