The Minister of Economy, Culture and Innovation, Blendi Gonxhja, who is also a candidate for MP on the open list of the Socialist Party for Tirana, invited to the show "Open", was asked if he would be a favorite candidate for the Municipality of Tirana, but Gonxhja said that he does not think so at this moment.

Gonxha explained that today he is facing a challenge such as the position of Minister of Economy, Culture and Innovation and the electoral race where he is running on an open list.

"It is a moment that I am in a challenge, I have been entrusted with a very high task that I ask myself every day, do I deserve it, can I do it, I work every day to try to do it well, it is a very large Ministry of Culture and Innovation, an extraordinary burden and responsibility.

I have been given another trust, I am a candidate in these elections on an open list, with my baggage, with a lot of good work that I have done and I have to focus a lot on this fight. It would be a distraction from what I am doing, for me to fall into this trap. I have always been available when I have been called to do my duties and do them well, but this has nothing to do with this moment. I think that maybe they connect it with my experience as deputy mayor, I have been twice with Mayor Erion Veliaj, and in my life I have had this experience and I have overcome it. Now I am in another challenge", says Blendi Gonxhja.
