Vangjel Tavo leaves the post of prefect of Vlora district .

Tavo has already been confirmed as SP's candidate for the municipality of Himare for the elections on August 4, while he has already resigned from this post, a resignation that has also been sent to the interior minister.

Vangjel Tavo was appointed prefect of Vlora on March 13 of this year, replacing Flamur Mamaj, a position he held for a few months, already being a SP candidate for Himarë municipality.

Tavo has asked interior minister Taulant Balla to resign from the post of prefect, expressing his gratitude for the opportunity he had in a short time.
