The elected MP of the Democratic Party, Blendi Himçi, has denounced the increase in prices for services that citizens receive at the Cadastre.

From the blue headquarters, Himçi stated that the government's decision to increase prices is a burden on citizens, so he demanded the cancellation of any act by the government on this issue. 

"Edi Rama's government has dealt another heavy blow to Albanians' pockets, by unprecedentedly increasing the service fees of the State Cadastre Agency. From a detailed analysis of the government decision, it results that the fees have increased by 70-80%, for almost every service offered by the State Cadastre Agency, affecting: Ownership certificates; Registration of sales, donation or exchange contracts; Registration of mortgages; Registration of legalization permits; Copies of documentation. This increase is not just a figure on paper. It is an unbearable burden for businesses that require mortgage services," said Himçi.

"Instead of improving the service, the government is increasing the price. The Democratic Party calls on the government to immediately withdraw this arbitrary decision, cancel the tariff increase and return the money collected unjustly," Himçi added.
