"No one can compete with Italy", Rama for "Rai Uno":
Rama and Meloni in Vlore

Prime Minister Edi Rama has given another interview in the Italian media regarding the three-day visit of his Italian counterpart Giorgia Meloni to Vlora.

Rama spoke to the Italian television Rai Uno, where he gave details of Melon's visit, their opposite political approaches, the competition in tourism as well as the incident with the Italian tourists in Berat.

Interview:

Rama : It went very well. She was pleased, and so was her family. He came with a target and rested in peace for three days. Then we exchanged some ideas because there is a lot to do between Albania and Italy.

Journalist: You and Meloni have a quite different political approach, you are left-wing while Meloni leans to the right, but what do you have in common?

Rama: We say what we think, besides we are lucky that these left-right divisions are simply part of history now. When decisions have to be made, we must be specific.

Journalist: There is a tourist boom in Albania, are you competing with us?

Rama: Nobody can compete with Italy.

Journalist: What could be the role of our country in bringing Albania closer to Europe?

Rama : Italy has always been our advocate and Giorgia actually talks about a reunification of the European Union

Journalist : Recently, in a special episode on social networks, a video went viral where a group of Italians left the restaurant without paying. Is it true that when the prime minister found out about this, she asked the ambassador to pay the bill?

Rama: I told her this for a little laugh, and everyone around her gave a big smile, but she made a stern face. He turned to the Ambassador and said: You Ambassador should pay that bill and make a communication and apologize because this is shameful.
