The head of the Freedom Party, Ilir Meta, has shown the reason why he submitted the report today to the SPAK for the Authority of the Former State Insurance Files under the name "Ilir Metaj".

Asked during the conference with journalists about this detail, Meta said that he made the report with his generalities unchanged, in order not to give SPAK a pretext to delay the investigations to the Files Authority.

"I chose it in order not to create any pretext for anyone, even a formal one, to create delays for this immediate investigation which will contribute to the destruction of a conspiracy against the destruction of political pluralism in Albania. You know I never changed my name, the one who changed it, you know, had difficulties with the law. Ilir Metaj neither changed it nor hid it", declared Meta.

We remind you that the former president's last name was part of the investigations of two SPAK prosecutors, this and because in many official documents and decrees, he signed "Ilir Meta".
