Socialist Minister Elisa Spiropali has attacked the "Rai 3" show that described Albania as a narco-state, saying that the accusations were written in Albania and have as their main source Sali Berisha.
Spiropali, on the "Top Story" show, also commented on Ahmetaj's statement on the show, saying that he is on the run and that he has a personal problem with justice.
Excerpt from Spiropal's statement:
The explanation is long, exhaustive, all the answers are there which are not raised for the first time, that material has been translated, it is a local production from here and they are just enjoying listening to the same lies, mud about Albania which they are used to producing, this is what they know how to do, the investigation is a local production, you can take it in turn, those are what we are used to hearing, as the journalist himself said, it is not a public accusation, there are accusations, at the expense of Albania.
It would not be humane, but today Mr. Ahmetaj is wanted by justice, he is not in the government and his reasons come from personal reasons, I understand, but if you take his statements in trouble and present them there as facts, the accuser does not what matters is what unites them is the fact that they have dealings with justice, they are either in front or on the run. Today we have a former prime minister who is under public accusation, attacks the justice bodies, who is the main source of accusations and lies, world champion of lies and fabrications, he has done that job and knows how to do it, the vice comes out with the soul.
We cannot take and translate his accusations, we have not hidden from the explanations and the prime minister has answered them one by one, he could have ignored it, but judging that the Albanian public deserves to have an answer, he has answered.
