Prime Minister Edi Rama and former Minister Arben Ahmetaj

Prime Minister Edi Rama in an interview on rai3's "Report" show also spoke about the accusations that former Deputy Prime Minister Arben Ahmetaj made of the escape, saying that the heads of crime receive tenders from the government.

Rama said that he does not trust those who speak much because they no longer warm their seats and adds that according to these people they should not be taken seriously, but only be merciful.

Regarding the fact that this person has had important positions in the government, Rama responded by saying: Ah! There is a saying in Albania, "there is no forest without pigs.".

Part of the interview:

Rai3: So it's the remittances of migrants.

KM: We conducted a study, precisely to understand that we were not in front of a bubble and it turned out that the demand to buy apartments is much higher than the offer even today. Then, there are Italians who buy in Albania and the Central Bank of Albania has published a data, according to which foreign investments in Albania have increased, have marked an immediate increase thanks to the investments of foreigners from the European Union, who buy houses or offices in Albania. And it's about hundreds of millions, not one.

Rai3: The towers also are built with the money of migrants who save in Italy.

KM: I don't know exactly who they are, as it is mixed data, but you must understand that for every apartment that is sold in Albania, check the origin of the money. I mean, the Calabrez phase of, say, albania, was over, when houses were bought in Tirana with cash and then balances were made, they became bills that were half-true.
Rai3: We have spoken to an exponent, former important exponent of your government, who claims that the past years, often during official government meetings, has warned about cannabization and that you have said that it will be a "boost", an important contribution to the economy, will develop Albanians. Is it true?

KM: I don't know who you talked to, but I wouldn't trust those who talk because they don't warm their seats anymore. That's how I think. They are not people who should be taken seriously, but they can only be pitied.

Rai3: The same person claims that the albanian criminal organizations chiefs have come to this office and that you have met them here.

KM: Same source.

Rai3: Yes.

KM: Then it must be a thoroughly polluted resource and there must be problems with justice.

Rai3: And yet, he has held very important positions in your governments.

KM: Ah! There is a saying in Albania, "there is no forest without pigs.".

Rai3: Is it true or not that you have met the organized crime figures?

KM: I'll tell you something, that's what made your report disgusting.

Rai3: I'm here to hear your opinion.

KM: I'll tell you this. Since the Romans, our civilization has solved this problem. The burden is on the accused to present the evidence, not the accused, because if I accuse you now or if I ask you an innocent question, but it is heavy: "Excuse me, did Becchetti pay you anything?" Is it up to you to prove it or is it for me to prove it? If I ask you that question, you will say, "Of course not." But that is not the way to feed the public, for, in the meantime, if I ask you this question, the public will start to think to themselves, "whyh," because, in general, the human being is many times more likely to withdraw lies than truths. Most of them are not newsworthy. Lies meanwhile are fun, they make up news and, then, all politicians are corrupt, all politicians are criminals. So why not, the heads of criminal organizations have come here and I draw, while they put their road maps in front of me. It would be a beautiful movie.

Rai3: Of course, a specific detail about the figure of Erebus (god of crime) Agi, namely Erebus Aggasi may be a little bit of a report...

KM: Sorry, but how can we do an interview with you representing a famous program in Italy, which has also done investigations, which have made surprising discoveries, i.e. public service, and with me being the Prime Minister of Albania, and here we bring the conversation to such a low level and talk about people. Namely, we take names of people who are not even present, have no posts or titles, people who have their own lives, it is not possible.

Rai3: I ask you a question, your answer can be convincing.

KM: My answer is this: "It is not of public service to take the names of people who have their lives, who are in their work, who have no connection to your work, to my work, which is a weighty work, where there is really weighty stuff, and then become an object.

Rai3: The Albanian media also speak of Aging as the shadow man of your power. It's like that, isn't it?

KM: No. The Albanian media make no difference. I choose between "Report" and his counterpart in Albania. I mean, for me the disgust of the Report is honey compared to the disgust of your counterpart here in Albania. The Media is not an argument for this. I, when I talk to you, since you mentioned architects to me, I speak to someone who represents the category that, let's say, was created by Montanelli, not the category created by Enver Hoxha.

Rai3: Getting more specifically into the things for which there is documented evidence: your encounters with Warr Hysa. Why did you meet with The War iI here in the year?

KM: Another name that is mentioned as bad. Sorry, but I don't want to miss the opportunity to broadcast to you by name, who don't know what they mean or who they are.

Rai3: According to Canadian authorities, it is one of the biggest purveyors of money and gambling cartels. Here in Albania, a casino has been awarded, so we talk about facts and very concrete circumstances.

KM: Unë ju them këtë, që ju flisni për Engjëll Agaçin dhe këtu ishte kulmi i emisionit tuaj.

Rai3: Do jua bëj pyetjet për Agaçin.

Nuk do bëja mirë zanatin tim, nëse nuk do ju pyesja.
