The Socialist Party rejected the Democratic Party's claims about election commissioners and their role in the election process for the Municipality of Vora.
"The process has normally been implemented and we have implemented the Electoral Code, where even if the quorum is not fulfilled the process follows and the quorum is fulfilled within a reasonable deadline. The commissions functioned normally and with seven members," said SP Secretary-General Damian Gjiknuri.
Gjiknuri said the crash shows that the PD finds it difficult to find even commissioners, while stating that their role in Vore, where identification was and electronic voting was minimal.
This incident, according to Gjiknur, is signalling that the OSCE recommendation for the depoliticisation of the electoral administration and for the Secretary General of the SP should be addressed in the Electoral Code, this must be done with the reform expected to be undertaken in the Assembly.
