Floreta Faber quits as ambassador to U.S., waves goodbye to Yuri Kim
Floreta Faber and Yuri Kim, former Ambassador to the US, and former U.S. Ambassador to Tirana


Floreta Faber has finished eight years as Ambassador of Albania to the United States of America.

The diplomat is expected to be replaced in this post by former MP Ervin Bushati.

Faber was greeted by U.S. officials and colleagues, among them former U.S. Ambassador to Tirana, Yuri Kim.

Albania is a valuable partner in the UN and NATO Security Council, including standing against the Russian invasion of Ukraine. Assistant Yuri Kim met Floreta Faber to congratulate her on the successful completion of more than 8 years as Albania's ambassador to the US. We are proud to call Albania a friend and ally", the State Department's Bureau for Europe and Eurasia.

Kim has been appointed principal deputy assistant secretary for European Affairs at DASH.
