NAMES: Edi Rama changes the Government

At today's meeting of the Socialist Party parliamentary group, Prime Minister Edi Rama decided to make changes to the government cabinet.

Albana Koçiu has been appointed to the post of Deputy Prime Minister, replacing Belinda Balluku in this position.

Ferit Hoxha, Albania's former ambassador to the UN, has been appointed Minister of Foreign Affairs.

Besfort Lamallari leaves as Minister of Justice and takes the post of Minister of Interior, while Toni Gogu is appointed head of the Ministry of Justice.

Erjona Ismaili has been appointed Minister for Parliamentary Relations.

Meanwhile, Enea Karakaçi is appointed Minister of Infrastructure and Energy, a position previously held by Belinda Balluku.

The Ministry of Defense has also undergone changes. Pirro Vengu has been removed from his position as minister, and Ermal Nufi has been appointed in his place.
