The network has been boiling over the last two days for the Government's decision to close a school and a kindergarten of the "Turgut Ozal" educational network funded by the Turkish philanthropist Fet'hullah Gülen, decisions that came after the requests of the Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

But, as he has not yet reacted to the closure of schools, the head of American diplomacy in Albania went today to the headquarters of the Freedom Party, the former LSI, to hold a meeting with Ilir Meta, with whom the clash once reached its climax with threats towards each other, before the April 25 elections. The news was announced by Ilir Meta himself through a post on social networks.

"Today I welcomed the Ambassador of the United States of America, Ms. Yuri Kim, to the headquarters of the Freedom Party. It was a pleasure to openly and constructively discuss the cooperation of the Freedom Party with the USA, in the interest of strengthening and intensifying the strategic partnership between Albania and the USA, fulfilling our obligations as a NATO member country, as well as priority reforms to accelerate the European integration of Albania and the Western Balkans in the EU." writes Meta.
