Socialist Party MP Sara Mila has joined the attacks on Dritan Goxhaj, following the publication of a letter from Prime Minister Edi Rama, according to which he is accused of never having participated in the Kosovo war.

"Friends, for days on end, the protesters on the boulevard refused to produce a representative and, on the 23rd day, they elected Dritan Goxhaj, the man who, according to a document published years ago, when asked to stand for the Kosovo war and lend his assistance, he simply replied: 'I don't have the nerve.' Today, surprisingly, yes, quite surprisingly, he has the nerve to save Albania for us."

"After days of leaderless protests, the mask fell. The official spokesperson for "New Albania" is a figure with public rhetoric that is pro-Iran, remember Iran, anti-American and an unparalleled denier of his own blood. Not only is he not a political alternative, but this is a geopolitical caricature," said Mila through a video message published on her Instagram account.

"At the protest, I have often heard you tell citizens sitting in cafes that there is a place in hell for neutrals in times of unrest. Maybe your revolutionary leader is a real person. But for those who incite riots and then sell them as patriotism, there should probably be a separate floor reserved. Sadness, friends. Very, very, very sad about the way this story began and ended," she says.
