The former prime minister , Sali Berisha, commented on Rama's statement, who said that he proposed a draft for the association of municipalities with a Serbian majority. According to Berisha, this is an ugly act that makes the situation even more tense.

According to Berisha, the text of this document was written in Belgrade, while he stated that Rama wants to resolve the issue he has with McGonigal.

" Today, Edi Rama, out of obligation, came out and informed the Albanians that he has drafted and submitted the text of the agreement of the association of municipalities with a Serbian majority in Kosovo.

The text was written in Belgrade and then rewritten in Tirana. This act constitutes a flagrant interference in the internal affairs of Kosovo on behalf of Belgrade.

An ugly act in the history of relations between the two countries, an act that incites and does not calm the conflict. An act that Rama tries to resolve his conflict with McGonigal, for which in every justice of the world he belongs in prison, where MeGonigal is , "said Berisha.
