The Government of Albania and Kosovo will hold a joint (ninth) meeting on June 14. Prime Minister Albin Kurti confirmed this during the meeting of his cabinet, saying that the meeting will be held in Gjakova.
"It will be the ninth joint meeting of our Government and the Government of the Republic of Albania. The third in less than two years. In the meetings so far, we have signed 41 bilateral, inter-ministerial and inter-institutional agreements. 39 of them have been fully implemented, the other two are in the final stage of implementation" , said Kurti.
Kurti said that at the next meeting, agreements will be signed in the fields of justice, education, health, agriculture and defense.
"Among those that are worth mentioning is the mutual recognition of practicing the profession of lawyer and mediator in dispute resolution. Through it, it will be possible to exercise these professions under the same conditions in both countries, guaranteeing the best interest of the citizens themselves".
He informed that in this meeting the agreement will be proposed to facilitate the control procedures of products of non-animal origin, so that the import, transit and export of food of non-animal origin can be carried out at the Border Inspection Point or at the nearest customs office of the country of destination.
"The joint meetings of the two governments do not bring us together for just one day, they bring us closer and closer as a society, as a people. This time Gjakova will join us. The agreements we will sign will bring us even closer", concluded Kurti.
