The hearing for MP Ervin Salianji, for the Babale case, is taking place in the Court of Appeal.

Present in the hall is the deputy Ervin Salianji himself, who requested the dismissal of the relator judge Etlira Petri.

According to Salianji, there is a legal incompatibility, as Petri is the wife of High Court judge Sokol Sadushi, who was part of a panel that issued a decision on one of the intermediate decisions of the First Instance.

"We have doubts about bias on the part of judge Petri. The appointment of the court session was made in order not to repeat this court file, since the same judge had files registered much earlier, but for which she did not set a date for the first hearing.

Petri includes subjective criteria in the rationale for speeding up the trial of the case. The acceleration was done to remove the possibility of not being retried, not to remove this file from the hands of Judge Petri."

Meanwhile, the lawyer of Jetmir Olldash also made a request for the dismissal of Judge Petri.
