File 5D/ "Re-establishment" protest again in front of the municipality

Around 11:00 this morning dozens of citizens have gathered in front of Tirana City Hall, to join the protest called by Rithemelimi regarding the 5D file. This is the second protest being held on the same issue. 

Citizens are demanding the resignation of Veliaj, while they have blocked the road in front of the institution.

They lit cigarettes and shouted against the mayor of Tirana.

The daughter of former prime minister Sali Berisha, Argita Malltezi, is also part of it this time.

DP adviser, Ilir Alimehmeti, in a statement to the media said:

"Where do Tirana's funds go?! They take our funds and use them. These leaders are not simply administrative leaders, but are political leaders, close associates of Erion Veliajt. We request an external audit for all funds that are spent in this direction in the municipality of Tirana for the period that has not been controlled by KLSH. A simple request, a clear anti-corruption request," he said.

For its part, the Police has taken a plan of measures to prevent any situation by surrounding the municipality and the Ministry of the Interior.
