A tense moment was recorded last night on the show "Opinion", when the journalist Blendi Fevziu got nervous after a message received from the speaker of the parliament Elisa Spiropali.\
The situation flared up during the discussion about the accusations raised by the opposition MP Gazment Bardhi, who alluded to the connection between Spiropali and the arrested businessman, Pëllumb Gjoka.
Fevziu, who demanded an answer from Spiropali about the accusations, received a direct message from her on his phone. However, Spiropal's reply was described by the journalist as "very little dignified" for a political figure. Fevziu, irritated by the tone of the message, threw his cell phone at the live broadcast.
In the show, Fevziu criticized the behavior of some politicians in strong tones, saying that as soon as they get power, "they get crazy" and forget who they are and where they come from.
This event came in the wake of the clash between Spiropali and Bardhi, which first started in the Parliament after the decision to end the mandate of MP Ervin Salianji. Spiropal's decision caused harsh reactions from the opposition, and the situation in the Assembly became chaotic when Bardhi threw the leg of his chair at Spiropal.
Excerpts from the discussion:
Gazment Bardhi : Tell us once what to write and what you replied and I'll tell you what I saw.
Blendi Fevziu : Write one thing, a reaction not very dignified for a man who deals with politics. But I'm not reacting now, since it was a personal message. I believe he got the answer.
Gazment Bardhi : I was joking.
Blendi Fevziu : Do you know how the work was?
Gazment Bardhi : There is no reason to read private communications.
Blendi Fevziu : There is a psychosis in Albanian politics, I hope you don't have it either, because you have been in power for a while. They are normal people, but the moment they get power, they get a kind of madness, they forget where they come from, who they are. And as Ngjela once said, "No one is rich enough to buy his past."
