The British Embassy in Tirana has also joined calls by foreign diplomacy to end the violence through opposition protests in parliament.

In a reaction, the British Embassy said it condemned actions that undermine dialogue and parliamentary processes, and called on all political parties to return to peaceful dialogue.

Full reaction:

Violence has no place in democracy. The British Embassy urges all Albanian political parties to engage in constructive dialogue and peaceful parliamentary processes.

The British Embassy condemns the activity that aims to undermine these principles and remains committed to supporting the people and democracy of Albania.
