The Tirana Chamber of Commerce and Industry has proposed Përparim Kalo for the post of President of the country.

Through a letter addressed to the Prime Minister Edi Rama, the Speaker of Parliament Lindita Nikolla and the leaders of the two opposition parties, Enkelejd Alibeaj and Monika Kryemadhi, the Chamber of Commerce appreciates the reputation, experience and contribution as a lawyer in support of business organizations to improve Albanian legislation .

 Përparim Kalo has been a judge in the Constitutional Court. Most recently he was the rapporteur on the issue of Ilir Meta's dismissal.

During his professional career of about three decades in the justice system, Përparim Kalo has been involved in legal and institutional reforms, through projects of drafting contemporary legislation, including but not limited to, the Civil Code, the Code of Civil Procedure, Telecommunications, Securities, Financial Leasing, Concessions, Public Procurement, Hydrocarbons, Mining, International Commercial Arbitration and Mediation, Energy from Renewable Sources, Insurance, Money Laundering Prevention, Bankruptcy, Banks, etc.

Përparim Kalo is the founder of the law firm KALO & ASSOCIATES (1994), representative of many companies Forture 500 and Fortune 100, as well as advisor to international organizations and development agencies, such as the World Bank, EBRD, USAID, SIDA, DANIDA, ADA , Albanian-American Development Foundation (AADF), etc., and advisor to several embassies accredited in our country, such as the Embassy of Austria, Federal Germany, Great Britain, Japan, the Netherlands, Denmark, the United States of America, etc.

Përparim Kalo has expanded its activities in Prishtina, Kosovo (2008), and in the region of South East Europe as a co-founder of the regional organization SEE LEGAL - SouthEast Europe Legal Group (www.seelegal.org) (2003).

He has played an active and prominent role in improving the business climate and in strengthening democratic corporate principles and in empowering these organizations by being consistently elected to the leading forums of business organizations, such as the American Chamber of Commerce, the Austrian Association, Foreign Investors Association, Italian Chamber of Commerce, Japanese Chamber, French Chamber, Business-Parliament Dialogue Association.

Përparim Kalo is a prominent activist in the field of economic diplomacy, establishing close and stable relations with heads of diplomatic missions and international organizations, with the aim of promoting and increasing the volume of investments in Albania.

Përparim Kalo is also involved in academic life and has continuously published articles and publications, and has given open lectures on topics related to business law, investment, domestic and international arbitration, privacy, ownership, information, ownership, public procurement. , the functioning and practice of the Constitutional Court, as well as specific articles on the reform in the field of justice (including the judiciary), etc.

Përparim Kalo made a special contribution to the country, in the circumstances created (year 2020), accepting the mandate of a member of the Constitutional Court, in the institutional strengthening of this important institution of the country through cooperation with the constitutional courts in Austria, Germany, Greece, etc., and consolidating the impartiality of the decision-making of the Constitutional Court.
