Today's parliamentary session lasted only 20 minutes, as the speaker of the Assembly, Lindita Nikolla, announced the closure, after a group of democratic deputies who were previously expelled were able to enter, creating chaos.

At the end of the session, the members of the majority left the back of the parliament, while those of the opposition came out to join the hundreds of citizens who gathered to protest in front of the building.

Democratic MP Gazment Bardhi accused Prime Minister Edi Rama of excluding the opposition from the plenary session.

"Today, the colleague of Arben Ahmetaj came to the assembly, and for this reason, with an illegal order, the opposition MPs, and those against whom there was no disciplinary measure, by order of a coward like Edi Rama, were not allowed to exercise their mandate they took it with blood and sweat", said Bardhi.

Meanwhile, during the protest, shouts were heard "O Berish, O hero, all of Albania loves you". It is learned that the protesters will then be moved from the Parliament towards the palace of former Prime Minister Sali Berisha.
