MP Luciano Boçi accused the government of having made a clientelistic agreement with the AADF organization, which is sold as an institutional enterprise of the US State Department, but which, according to the legislator, is a private enterprise and has no connection to the US administration.
He mocked the government, saying it was telling tales to Americans about this case, selling it as a US initiative and cooperation.
He said that the government sold it as an American institution. During his speech, Boçi underlined that AADF is an independent institution, so according to him, it is a client of the Minister of Education.
"Mr. Shehaj is requesting the implementation of the regulation, the same thing I requested last session when I also received the exemption. I heard the Prime Minister yesterday, in a proud meeting, stating that the educational services agency has become an American institution and we anti-Americans have opposed such a thing. But there is a response from the American embassy regarding AADF, and the request is from a citizen of Durrës interested in the TID project," he said.
Boçi further explained that the official US response states that the AADF is an independent institution, explaining that it is the same as the government taking a telescope in Arizona and placing it in Elbasan, saying that NASA has come to Albania.
"And in the response it is determined that the AADF is an independent institution where the State Department has no supervisory role. So leave the tales with Americans, because it has simply been taken over by a private individual, a client of the Minister of Education. He is buying a telescope in Arizona, we are taking it to Elbasan and we are telling all of Albania that we are taking NASA to the Zaranika bridge", the deputy leader of the DP ironically said.
